Job Summary We are seeking Production Workers (Day Shift) for our Mesa, AZ manufacturing plant location. Reporting to the Plant Foreman, the Production Worker is an entry level position with advancement opportunities (to machine operator, forklift driver, loader operator, etc.). The Production Worker is responsible for ensuring continuous efficient production through planning, coordinating, and directing manufacturing resources. Personal skills include time management, quality control and safety. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete essential duties and assigned tasks satisfactorily. Duties and Responsibilities Work with the Plant Foreman to maintain daily production goals Maintain a clean and safe production environment Understand all and adhere to all safety regulations Assist on the aggregate material bagging line, assist with the physical inventory of product, learn basic machine maintenance, maintain a clean work area by emptying trash receptacles, sweeping/raking work areas Repairs and maintenance to bagging facility; minor building repairs/maintenance of either construction/repair to building, office and warehouse. May include some carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing work Physical Demands and Working Conditions Strength and agility sufficient to lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds, such as bags of rocks, heavy tools, and equipment; to walk over rugged terrain.
