From earthquake and seismic engineering to the latest trenchless technology methods, Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services support the planning, engineering, and construction of complex projects, and our specialists are leading experts in their fields. Kleinfelder's Irving (Dallas/Fort Worth), TX office is currently seeking a Geotechnical Technician for a FLEX status. The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of Civil, Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering services in our team-oriented environment. Responsibilities would include: Continuously interact with and learn from junior and senior level technical staff; Prepare evaluations, calculations, reports, drawings and specifications; Assist with field assignments including exploration, sampling and observation; Assist with laboratory soil testing; Contribute to writing technical reports, correspondence, and proposals; and Assist with the administration and coordination of various projects. Requirements: Working towards a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcGIS, and/or Microsoft Office is preferred. Previous experience in Civil Engineering and Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificate a plus.
