The Neuroscience of Learning Lab in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Assistant. Under the direction of Professors John Freeman and Krystal Parker, the Research Assistant will conduct behavioral and neurophysiological experiments using rats. The position will also include lab management activities such as maintaining supplies and developing protocols. This position supports a collaborative research project among the Freeman (https://freeman.lab.uiowa.edu/) and Parker (https://parker.lab.uiowa.edu/) labs to investigate the brain mechanisms of behavioral timing. The Senior Financial Analyst provides leadership to the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science overseeing program and grant budgets as well as maintaining and analyzing data to assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness and impact. They will provide accurate financial information in a cost-effective, efficient, and timely manner and assure responsible stewardship of the University's financial resources by establishing policies and procedures in compliance with internal and external regulations. Position Responsibilities Financial Oversight and Budgeting Develop, prepare, and supervise budget for department with expertise in all software systems used for monthly and annual budget reports.
