BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY Function as an Advanced Practice Nurse and change agent incorporating the primary role of nurse practitioner and the supporting roles of consultant, educator, researcher, and administrator to support quality care and positive patient outcomes. This growing outpatient practice incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to patient care involving physicians, mid-level providers, dieticians, and certified diabetes educators to treat patients with obesity.
