OVERVIEW:   The Security Specialist and First Response Officer works to ensure the security and protection of museum facility, campus, visitors, staff, volunteers and collections for The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Inc. The Specialist enforces safety by patrolling the building, campus, and grounds, providing exceptional customer service, hazard/safety checks and parcel inspections, as well as, helping to ensure safe and effective crowd management within the museum building, throughout the campus, and parking areas. The incumbent provides first aid response, Control Room support, and assists with training other members of the department and museum staff.
