JOB BRIEFThe Warehouse Stocker receives supplier shipments, separates and slots merchandise and fulfils store orders and distributions with efficiency and expediency. This position ensures the distribution of merchandise to the stores is achieved while maintaining the highest level of accuracy.PRIMARY JOB DUTIESSet delivery appointment for shipments within requested time frames.Receive and unload shipments in a timely manner when received. Avoid detention or lumper charges that could occur. Obtain prior approval for any additional charges.Verify each shipment for accuracy against the Fiesta Purchase Order.Ensure each carton is received in good condition with no apparent damage. Report any concealed damage within the appropriate time frame.Mark all freight bills as received, note on bill if short or damaged cartons, etc. in the presence of the driver and obtain driver signature. Notify the buyer of any discrepancies.Separate shipments by product and store in pre-determined area in the warehouse.Prudently handle all merchandise and treat as cash.Accurately and timely maintain the warehouse side of the purchase order and the distribution reporting system. Notify buyer of shipment and adjust inventory to reflect newly received merchandise.Select and fulfill orders per schedule and record store shipments.Separate and prepare filled pallets for shipment, identifying and staging each pallet by store.Prepare Bill of Lading for each store shipment.Load delivery trucks in scheduled store delivery sequence.Obtain driver signature for all goods shipped.Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conditions. Move trash/waste from area to dumpsters.Maintain warehouse safety conditions. Follow all corporate safety guidelines. Report any hazards that need to be corrected.Respond to communications in a timely manner.Take periodic inventory counts and record all counts. Operate forklifts and pallet jack trucks as necessary. Job DescriptionIn Fugro's Marine Geoconsulting service line our geoscientists and engineers have expertise in guiding data collection programs; exploring ocean basins; interpreting seafloor geo-morphology, being involved in environmental, carbon sequestration, and geochemical exploration studies; identifying and analyzing geohazards; and advising on foundation siting and design and routing pipelines and cables.The Warehouse Manager - Marine will supervise the receipt, storage, dispatch, and disposal of samples and occasionally equipment into and from the Houston Geotechnical Laboratory facilities. About the role: WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Houston, TX. This role receives, stores, picks, packs, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. STARTING RATE: $18.00/hour Primary Responsibilities: Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping. Mark materials with identifying information. Open bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Operate forklift to transport stored items from shelves to package area for shipment. Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs. Other duties and tasks as assigned. Education: No education required. HS diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge / training: Demonstrated proficiency operating a sit-down/stand-up forklift and the ability to become certified. Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, understanding how to piece orders together, and outbound product loading/unloading. Product on racking and bulk storage and cycle counting.
