Prefer candidates with at least 3-5 years' experience setting up, running and doing general press maintenance on Mark Andy, Nilpeter presses. ($18-25 hr). Candidates must have narrow web background and some lamination experience to be considered. Basic computer skills are required as well. Employ dozer day and night to push material to dozer trap in order to load out material for vessels. • Operate front end loader, bobcat, man-lift, and track hoe. • Operates 345/385 track hoe with a clam shell bucket in order to dig petroleum coke from a hopper barge and transfer it over to a mobile hopper/conveyor system to be placed into storage. Operate track how from an elevated position in order to dig cake fines from a rail car to dump truck. • Maintain dozer, skid steer, forklift, track hoe, back hoe, and wheel loader equipment by performing preventive maintenance, i.e.: lubricating, cleaning, adding gear lubricants, changing filters and documenting all activity performed on said piece of equipment. • Operates a 924/972/980 wheel loader to scrape clean the pocket of a hopper barge, dig and load petroleum coke into a conveyor hopper while simultaneously synchronizing movements with other wheel loaders. Requires the ability to cut and grade material as necessary for miscellaneous projects on/and around terminal. • Experience operating a wheel back hoe, fork lift, skid steer, and man lift. Must be capable of becoming a certified operator on each piece of equipment. • Train on remote controlled ship loader by engaging push buttons on the remote to distribute coke accordingly to stowage plan and ships chief mate instructions. Ensure satisfactory loading of the vessel and watch for safety of the ship loader during operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates a series of hydraulic presses in various molding operations consisting of long or short production runs of products made of various rubber compounds. Completes opening of press/mold by various manual means and closes partially by manual means and pushing control buttons. Performs duties that include: Sets up assigned press line for maximum efficiency and productivity. Raises and lowers presses. Proper barring of press platens. Applies mold wash to cavities. Inserts blanks in mold cavities by hand. Loads board, pots or plates. Covers molds and inserts into press. Cures stock for prescribed length of time. Removes finished molded pieces from mold cavities, tear trim and deposits in provided containers. Uses care in loading molds to insure that rubber blanks are properly positioned. Inspection responsibilities will become paramount throughout molding cycle. Troubleshoots press as corrective action when defects occur with product. Audits pre-molded blanks for defects and proper weights during initial start-up. Informs Supervisor and/or Engineering of defective conditions concerning pre-molded blanks. Assists and suggests ways to correct defects. Inspects finished molded pieces, this inspection will involve the use of some form of gauge(s). Assures, then provides input to Supervision or Quality as to the following: Proper data codes are in place. Durometer checks are O.K. Status on stock availability and mold conditions. Provides input and production data for histogram/bell chart development. Verifies mold cleaning correctness. Predetermines pressures, cure times and temperatures on product masters when presses are in operation. Employee will however, be alert to pressure changes, proper functioning of mechanical lubricating systems, temperature readings, bumps and pre-heat cycle so as to provide input and correct product masters if improprieties exist. Performs various finishing operations (manual or machine) on molded rubber items and other miscellaneous items in order to prepare them for shipment. Moves all finished work to proper center and records production. Maintains equipment, cleans and lubricates machines, empties dust collectors and refuse containers, cleans screen trays and replenishes media as necessary. Miscellaneous functions such as tear trimming and stacking of parts will be an essential duty of the operator. May assist in Finishing operation as directed. Working together across all job functions is critical to achieving our success.   ABOUT THE JOB: The main job purpose of a Plasma Table Operator is to cut, trim, scarf metal objects with arc-cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, work orders, and layout by performing associated duties.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to fully operate assigned CNC plasma cutting platforms which includes setup, run, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.Anticipates, oversees, reviews, and completes setup adjustments to ensure 1st article success. Inspecting material to specifications on job traveler and able to make necessary adjustments and tool changes to maintain quality specifications.Efficient operation of the numerically controlled burning machine by challenging the capabilities of the machine and maximizing the utilization of the material consumed.Troubleshoot faults/failures leveraging understanding of machine programming logic and machine operational parameters and capabilities.Ability to change programs, fault diagnosis, troubleshoot, and torch maintenance.Responsible for burning various materials as defined by the job orders, verification of burning accuracy while minimizing the effects of wasted materials, and to optimize production, quality, and efficiency.Confirm order requirements are met, including the proper selection of job priority, material selection, material alignment, gas flows, speed, and program loading.Take a key role in machine upkeep, machine health, and reliability through proactive participation in daily and continual preventative maintenance activities. Maintain regular communication with fellow burn table operators and leadership, relaying any relevant information, including material, paperwork, supplies, inventory, quality, productivity, equipment, and personnel issues that have or could impact the machine operation.Identify, escalate, issue non-conformance while maintaining focus on minimizing scrap and rework operations.Accurately complete necessary paperwork and time sheets to properly manage inventory and job cost.Keep personal and common work areas clean and organized.Perform other duties and cross-train as assigned by supervision.Regularly lift at least 50 lbs.Assist with project work as directed by Supervisor and Department Manager Comply with all ParkUSA policies, procedures, guidelines.Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Able to read, interpret and comprehend blueprint drawings.  Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s without the use of a calculator. Able to perform mathematical operations of whole numbers and fractions in both standard and metric units of measurements. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow all operating procedures, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement focused environment. Able to read, write and speak in English language. Work professionally, cooperatively and politely in a team environment and with customers. Handle multiple tasks, work independently, recognize issues and solve problems. Use hands and fingers and have manual dexterity. Proficient in safety regulations and quality control related items. Must have sufficient visual acuity and clear speech to perform the essential functions of the job effectively. Able to learn, organize and prioritize work as necessary. Ability to self-manage and solve problems. Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must be 18 yrs old or older.
