This role is based in Glendale, AZ and reports into a team that sits in Addison, IL. You will be overseeing the team that makes sure we have the best inventory quality as possible. The moment inventory comes in the door to the moment it reaches the customer. Our customers expect the right part, the right quantity, undamaged, and on time. The Quality and Inventory Control supervisor is a fanatic about making sure we deliver on that promise. You will build a team that is responsible for continuous cycle counting and syncing inventory across our systems. You will lead the DC West team working with Customer Experience teams on any customer facing quality or inventory issues (ICR). Your team will work with Manufacturer Partnerships, Accounts Payable, vendors, and the receiving team to resolve any receiving discrepancies such as overages, shortages, and damages.A Typical DayBuild and develop a team responsible for all things quality and inventoryEstablish a cycle counting team ensuring we achieve quality and productivity KPIsCommunicate with vendors, Accounts Payable, and Operations teams on resolving receipt discrepanciesOversee customer facing quality issues and work with operations and Continuous Improvement teams on error proofingManage parts needing identification and escalating quality issues as neededParticipate in interview process, training, performance reviews, and tracking attendanceTo Land This OpportunityYou’re someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work well minimal supervision, juggle multiple priorities and are self-starter looking to make an impact and establish a new teamYou are comfortable reporting into a leader working at another facility and you have experience within DC OperationsYou are an inventory guru who enjoys working with inventory and investigating discrepanciesYou are proficient in Microsoft Office and OutlookYou possess excellent communication skills with all levels of leadership, and are fluent in English (verbal and written)You are able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay organizedYou have the ability to intermittently lift 50 lbs. and to continuously stand and walk on concrete surface (our DC team members stand so we do too!)About Your Future TeamOur Distribution Center Team is full of high-performing team members who have a passion and enthusiasm to work hard and play hard.
