There is a strong case load of sports related injuries of the shoulder, knees, elbow and some total joints cases. The PA will run their own orthopedic clinic and see new and follow-up patients. They will provide fracture care, evaluate acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, post-op follow-up, injections (cortisone, hyaluronic, etc.), some rounds, scripts, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.Successful candidates must be NCCPA-Certified and have some orthopedic experience.
