The Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner. The Quality Engineer is customer-focused and will leverage data to assess risks, solve problems, and champion the appropriate actions that ensure customer satisfaction.Reports to:Quality Assurance ManagerResponsibilities and Objectives: Support efforts to deploy Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout production and within the supply chain.Drive root cause and corrective action activities within manufacturing and the supply chain.Monitor Key Performance Indicators for processes and champion improvement activities with process owners. Execute internal audits per the annual internal audit plan. Support external audits from certifying bodies, customers, and regulators.Support supplier qualification activities with the Procurement team. Support change management processes within the organization. Qualifications: Must possess prior experience with the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) within a production environment. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 3-5 years' prior experience in Quality Assurance, or Engineering.In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 5 or more years of prior Quality Engineering experience within a production environment. Prior experience within a CNC production environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience with engineering change management and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.An applied understanding of ISO 9001 or an equivalent system. Applied experience with basic quality tools such as RCCA methodologies, value-stream maps, flowcharts, PFMEA, and PDCA. Must possess the ability to substantiate and clearly communicate information to an international audience. Must possess proficiency with MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
