This role is responsible for the identification, assessment and mitigation of pipeline safety risks associated with underground natural gas storage facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining and analyzing storage asset data, planning, and executing assessments, and developing the long-term capital plans for the underground natural gas storage facilities, including design & specifications for new/replacement storage assets to ensure regulatory compliance.** **Essential Functions** + Facilitating the underground natural gas storage facility risk modelling, threat identification, and review including implementing or enhancing the risk model. + Developing storage asset data improvement projects to improve threat identification, risk assessment, and assessment method selection, and mitigation project planning. + Coordinating with Reservoir Engineering, Gas Storage and LP Operations, and System Planning on the timing, tracking and progress of underground natural gas storage facility projects, including scheduling, project management, and documentation. + Developing long-term infrastructure investment plans to address regulatory implications or record keeping issues. + Reviewing transmission work order documentation for traceable, verifiable, and complete records requirements. + Performing all engineering analysis and technical support required for the SIMP program, including, but not limited to: 1.
