We are seeking a "customer service oriented" Accounts receivable/collections specialist in the Cupertino area who can start right away! ***MUST have previous collections experience and tech savy with accounting software. Position: AR/ Collections Pay: $30-$34Duration: Temp to hireLocation: Cupetino (fully onsite)Job Description:Contact customers and clients with overdue balances via phone, email, and written correspondence.Maintain up-to-date customer records and account information in the accounting system.Review accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on the age and amount of the debt.Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactionsDocument all collection activities, including phone calls, emails, and payment arrangements, in the company's database or CRM system.Provide regular updates to management on the status of outstanding debts and collections efforts.Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer concerns.Process customer payments received via various methods (e.g., checks, credit card payments, electronic transfers).Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.Previous experience in collections or accounts receivableProficiency in accounting software: Netsuite preferred or (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
