PacifiCorp is one of the lowest-cost electricity producers in the United States, providing more than 1.6 million customers with reliable, efficient energy. PacifiCorp has more than 10,400 megawatts of generation capacity from coal, hydro, renewable wind power, gas-fired combustion turbines, solar and geothermal. PacifiCorp operates as Pacific Power in Oregon, Washington and California; and as Rocky Mountain Power in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. The company was acquired by MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company in 2006.

Products:

A diverse set of generation resources serve a diverse group of customers. PacifiCorp relies on a variety of generation resources, both to maintain a balanced system and to ensure that all of its customers have access to reliable electricity supplies. In addition to coal-fired, gas-fired and hydroelectric plants, PacifiCorp’s generation system includes a mix of power including thermal generation, mining, hydro power, and renewable energy. PacifiCorp operates recreation areas within its system through its local companies, Pacific Power and Utah Power. These recreation areas provide camping fishing, boating and picnicking facilities.
