A voice for children:

Here, everyone mattersA career at Children’s Home Society of Florida is unlike any other you've ever had. From day one, you will instantly feel a sense of pride in our mission of “Embracing Children. Inspiring Lives.” Because of you, because of your contributions, more children will be safe. More children will have chances to find and realize their dreams.Every member of our team – no matter what your role may be – works together to change our communities. Whether you serve on the front lines – perhaps as a dependency case manager, youth child care worker or counselor – or in the office – maybe your gifts are in marketing, human resources, IT or finance – you are a valuable member of our CHS family. As a team, we share in our successes and collectively conquer our challenges. Everyone makes a difference. When you begin your career with Children’s Home Society of Florida, you’ll quickly see that you are part of something much bigger than yourself ... much bigger than you could have imagined. Why we’re differentWe’ve been around for more than a century. In 1902, we saw a need: children were wandering the streets of Jacksonville. They didn’t have families. So Children's Home Society of Florida was founded to help these kids, to change their lives. While adoption is still a core service, we’ve grown quite a bit in the past 100+ years. Once a single-site orphanage with a handful of employees, we now blanket the state with more than 1,800 incredibly important team  members – and you could be one.Sure, we’ve won plenty of awards and earned lots of recognition – we’ve been nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation since 1982, we’ve been named a Top 100 Company for Working Families by the Orlando Sentinel for several years, and we regularly top the list of the Orlando Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers. But the awards aren’t what make us great. The people make us great. The experiences make us great. At Children's Home Society of Florida, we’re never satisfied with “what is” ... we’re always working toward “what can be” … “what will be.” You can help take us there.
