Role Definition Expertise in developing the strategy and implementation of channel optimization & activation, digital marketing, campaign management, creative development, and public relations. Responsibilities Analyzing the business objective and opportunities to develop and align the marketing strategies. Conducting market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends. Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement. Maintaining effective internal communications in the marketing department to discuss and align the marketing strategy to the changing organizational scenarios. This role will play a lead role for marketing and communications for Integrated Product Management (IPM), within the Digital Product Management organization in Cat Digital. This will include supporting and developing clear internal communications for key business processes that IPM leads, sharing progress and value enabled for Demand Intake, Digital Product Councils, Enterprise Target-Setting, Digital Asset Inventory, and the Ideas Intake Portal. This role will also support the development and implementation of internal communications and marketing as needed for integrated products & services, including the Insights Hub, Salesforce Enterprise Product Management and the CCAT (Cat Customer Admin Tool). The role will have special focus on internal and dealer communications and marketing for the Cat Customer Admin Tool and Register.Cat.com, which are streamlining customer registration and onboarding customers onto our digital applications like eCommerce and Equipment Management. As these products are closely integrated with our dealer and customer-facing digital products, this role will need to work closely with the communications specialists from these digital product teams and with the members of our Digital Product Marketing team that supports these digital products. This role will also support the development and implementation of communications for integrated customer experience initiatives led by IPM in close partnership with our digital product teams to drive an improved customer experience across our digital products for our dealers and customers. This role will bring together clear communications, messaging and the value story for portfolio of business process leadership and integrated products and services lead by IPM. Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
