Responsible for picking and packing customer orders according to ISO procedures and other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Uses voice directed picking process. Picks products from shelves or bins, places the correct product and quantity into the cart, placing small items into bags or bands together for easier identification. Verifies product and location. Packs the customer orders by verifying products and checking off as appropriate on the box content list. Selects appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid the bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery. Packs all orders neatly and correctly in a box to ensure quality. This involves packing glass items appropriately in bubble wrap, placing small items in a bag, and placing all liquids in a bag and packing them standing upright. Follows proper packing procedures. Reports any error in product selection or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or corrects the order as necessary before shipment. Labels outside of box according to ISO procedures. May add packing material (dunnage) to boxes and seals for shipment or sends along conveyor. Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions. Performs other reasonably related duties that may be assigned such as master sanitation.Physical Activities:Ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Also, may encounter various environmental conditions such as hot and cool temperatures, hazardous items, noise, and dust.
