LB&B Associates is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support our contract to provide operations and mechanical maintenance at the Mecklenburg County Courts in Charlotte, NC. HVAC Mechanic must have a minimum of five (5) years experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. High School Diploma or G.E.D is required. Universal EPA or CFC certification is required. Technical training in HVAC is highly desired. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Shift: Sunday -Saturday 5-11 PM with two days off TBD Guaranteed Hours Job Duties Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs. Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
