In this Independent Risk Review function, you will provide independent assessment of the Ameriprise Bank, FSB credit risk management functions, including the quality of loan portfolios and assessment of individual loans for compliance with purchasing guidance to ensure credit is approved on a safe and sound basis.This is a newly created role supporting the 2nd Line of Defense Bank Risk Office and will manage the independent review of credit including detailed file review, identification of exceptions, providing assessment of loan quality and monitoring and escalating findings and trends to Bank management and the Bank Risk Management Committee.Key Responsibilities:Conduct ongoing independent loan file reviews to ensure that extensions of credit comply with regulations and the principles, policies, standards, limits, and established procedures.
