The Recovery Coaches (RC) provide peer recovery support services to patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and assist patients in achieving sustained recovery. The Recovery Coach Supervisor oversees the group of Recovery Coaches as they work to facilitate patient access to recovery-oriented systems of care. The Recovery Coach Supervisor will be responsible for assisting RCs in monitoring productivity and general function of RC, managing case load, assisting RCs to integrate effectively with medical teams and work effectively within medical culture. The successful candidate should possess thorough understanding of the process of recovery, the importance of community and culture to addressing the barriers to successful recovery, familiarity with the function and culture of primary care and other medical settings, and a broad awareness of community resources and treatment options. The individual is a dynamic, self-starter with experience working as a recovery coach and a commitment to the profession.
