Health Care System which includes a team of Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add another full-time Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will work both in the OR and the clinic. There is a strong case load of sports related injuries of the shoulder, knees, elbow and some total joints cases. The Physician Assistant will run their own orthopedic clinic and see new and follow-up patients. They will provide fracture care, evaluate acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, post-op follow-up, injections (cortisone, hyaluronic, etc.), some rounds, scripts, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.Successful candidates must be NCCPA-Certified and have some orthopedic experience. New graduates will be considered if they have an orthopedic rotation and would be a plus if they have ATC, exercise science or kinesiology background. The Physician Assistant needs to be organized, hard working and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
