The individual will work with Project Manager and Project Engineers to prepare construction documents for land development, stormwater, utility infrastructure, and environmental projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Major duties/responsibilities of the position include:• Prepare complete construction documents, including plan, section, and detail drawings. • Coordinate with other disciplines, including but not limited to structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. • Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with team member across disciplines and offices. • Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles. • Ability to create layouts from process and instrumentation diagrams, including structural and architectural layouts. • Other duties may be assigned. • Consulting with clients and members of the design and construction teams to discuss specifications.• Proofing designs for potential errors• Presenting design drafts for clients and team members to assess• Making revisions based on feedback• Creating models of proposed designs, either 2D or 3D, using CAD software• Meeting with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.Qualifications:• High School Diploma• 10- to 15-years of experience in project management of construction and pipeline projects and preparing construction documents for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred. is preferred.• Able to create surfaces, profiles, pipe networks, and corridors. • Able to train junior staff in Civil 3D features. • Ability to lead production staff to complete deliverables on time.• Project/Task management experience.• Experience in monitoring maintenance budgets• Experience developing CIP project budgets.• Experience with asset management • Experience with pipeline system condition assessment and rehabilitationAbout Tetra Tech:Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
