Location : Alpharetta, GA Onsite position, Monday - Friday Work Hours: 8am - 6pm The Administrative Assistant - Ambulatory Infusion is responsible greeting patients at front desk and coordinating check in and check out. How you will make an impact: Check in patients by ensuring medical records have been pulled, demographics and eligibility verified/updated, forms completed, co-pay collected. Check out patients by scheduling return appointments, providing referral information if needed, ensure lab requests are completed, reconciles patient balances. Schedules appointments with appropriate physicians. Reconciles co-payments, daily deposits, and charge tickets nightly. Minimum Requirements: Requires a HS diploma and a minimum of 6 months of experience as a receptionist in a medical office; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences : Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required in most offices.
