Position Description This position will be in the Kinder Morgan Operations Support Group Engineering - Codes and Standards department. This Pipeline Engineer position will support the all four Kinder Morgan business units by coordinating, conducting, supporting, and facilitating all Pipeline Safety inspections and audits conducted by USDOT and State regulatory agencies. This position will ensure the business unit's compliance with applicable federal, state, municipal, and internal Pipeline Safety regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead DOT/PHMSA and State pipeline safety related inspections.Assist Operations staff prepare for PHMSA/DOT and other regulatory inspections on an as needed basis.Will be required to carry a company provided cell phone and be on call for emergency response and reporting duties.
