Responsible for participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, construction, testing, review, document and demonstrations. Develop and maintain the Next Gen Federation of Payroll Innovation to support ADP's in North American clients. Work with internal and external groups to gather requirements and develop software features to shorten the entry time of products into new markets and raise the quality of the code. Work on internal tools specifically designed to allow practitioners to facilitate accurate and timely payroll. Participate in all aspects of the agile software development life cycle and work with other members of the scrum team to design, develop and test software solutions consistent with business objectives. Learn new and legacy technologies, understand relevant platforms and environments, and utilize knowledge in business processes, functions, and data to provide innovative, insightful, and secure software solutions. Help customers interface with cutting edge products allowing them to manage global payrolls. Develop and maintain the Next Generation Payroll integrations to support ADP's clients all over the world in an agile environment. Participate in scrum team that will be a cross-functional team of front-end developers, back-end developers, payroll policy developers and QA who collaborate and work with 10+ other scrum teams within the Payroll Innovation project. TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study and one (1) year of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and zero (0) years of related experience.Work Experience. Experience or coursework must include: Java 11 or higher; REST API design and implementation; Build tools and dependency management using Gradle; Micro-Services design and implementation; Relational Database (MySQL); Unit Testing, Integration testing, Automated testing and End to End testing; Data Structures and Algorithms; CI/CD; Scrum team; and Git source control.
