Position SummaryThe Dual Enrollment & Admissions Specialist works independently and collaboratively to meet enrollment goals with focused efforts on exemplary customer service, use of technology and systems, teamwork, accuracy, and efficiency to connect, engage and enroll prospective high school students to Lawson State Community College. The Dual Enrollment & Admissions Specialist works with prospective high school students, parents, counselors and others involved in the college selection process and collaborates with institutional stakeholders to facilitate aspects of the recruitment, enrollment, and the admission process. The Dual Enrollment & Admissions Specialist will work as a member of the college's admissions and enrollment management team and will perform various functions to aid prospective students in applying, visiting, earning admission, and enrolling in the College. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides admissions and enrollment support to Dual Enrollment high school students. Provides oversight for the development, expansion, and administration of the College's dual enrollment program in accordance with standards established by the College and the Alabama Community College System.Promotes the growth, development, marketing, and administration of the dual enrollment program, including making presentations at schools, initiating formal agreements with schools, recommending procedural changes, coordinating with instructional departments at the College, and responding to constituencies in a timely manner.Represents the college at dual enrollment meetings and conferences.Assists in the development and implementation of an annual, comprehensive recruitment/marketing program that will increase student enrollment in credit and non-credit programs.
