Responsibilities Determine complete scope of customer request from both internal or external customers Research original contracts, aftermarket contracts, engineering resources, and technical standards to determine the specifics of scope that should be offered Formalize complete description for scope being offered and identify most effective manufacturing facility Determine total cost, price, and lead time for identified scope, which may be accomplished via resources available in supply chain management, transportation, graphics, engineering, estimating, pricing, and/or order management group or resources available within the Product Support group Follow up with required groups and utilize routing system to track and expedite quote completion Maintain quote ownership and can work on multiple quotes simultaneously while managing workload priority Final review before quote is submitted to customer Primary point of contact for follow up questions (including technical) from various internal and external customers Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience 5 years professional experience with an Associate Mechanical Engineering Technical degree or technical knowledge normally associated with an Associate Technical degree, including the ability to read drawings and bill of material Experience with creating bills of material, red-lining drawings, and proposal development Excellent communication skills, technical reading & writing skills Ability to exercise a moderate degree of independent judgment and problem solving As needed business travel and research requests Self-motivated, team oriented, and can think outside-the-box Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience Knowledge of PLM, Visibility, Data Warehouse, Oracle, RPQO, and Global Parts and Service internal processes. 7 years' experience, plus Tech Design experience with AutoCad, Solid Works, or another related CAD software (3D Modeling is a plus, but not required). Familiar with B&W Design and Technical Standards. Familiar with microfilm and researching historic documents. Responsible for accuracy and reliability of data collection and documentation. 10% Oversee initiatives and programs sponsored by the IR and PSI teams providing supervision and the evaluation of work assigned to the teams. Direction and total responsibility for the operation of a department or large program. Provides direction to staff for their work assignments and fosters an environment of collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all critical functions within the department are adequately supported.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in institutional research and assessment with experience in statistical modeling, evidence-based decision support, analytics, and data curation Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in leading teams preferably in a higher education institution Demonstrated experience in best practices leveraging technology for data and analytics and communicating the results Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstrable experience and capability in translating data analysis into understandable terms at all levels of an institution or organization Experience with variety of data analytics and statistical systems and/or data warehouses Experience with predictive analytics, the use of key performance indicators (KPI 's) and dashboards Demonstrated experience in leading and facilitating change preferably in a higher education institution PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Doctoral degree. Eight or more years' experience in making data a strategic asset in a position within higher education. Experience in establishing and managing a data governance process and committee.
